Pick Your Own Lavender

Torlesse Lavender is open for PYO lavender events from December 27th through until the end of January.  Visitors are welcome to come to our lavender farm to experience the aroma and beauty of lavender. Come, relax and enjoy picking lavender in sunny Sheffield.  Bring a picnic and immerse your senses in all that is lavender.

Come and enjoy our inaugural “Pick Your Own Lavender” season at our Waimakariri Gorge Road property in Sheffield, just 35 minutes’ drive from Christchurch International Airport. It is a don’t miss summer event. We throw open the gates to our lavender field so you can pick your own lavender and share in our slice of Provence.

The views are stunning and stretch from the Torlesse Ranges, to the Oxford Hills and all the way to Banks Peninsula.

Visit and view our New Zealand grown lavender and enjoy a few hours in the sun adoring the incredible aroma.  Bring a picnic, rug, sunglasses, sunhat, umbrella for shade and relax in the lavender field.
